I am currently trying to setup this blog and automate deployment. Haven’t touched GitLab CI in a while, so that’s fun. Might also wanna publish the code and markdown somewhere. Also kinda trying to get a feel, how much I actually want to write here. I already learned, that longer articles take longer to produce, who would have guessed. Gonna look into smaller topics that also are fun to write down!

At work, I’m currently improving my pipeline for analysing routing loops. I do measurements for this project regularly and thus want the analysis to be as easy and smooth as possible. Also, I’m thinking about publishing the code for the measurement and analysis once I’m done with the second paper using the data. I’m super proud of work I’ve done here, so might as well share it with the world instead of just producing a paper. Visiting IMC this year, I’m excited to try to submit this paper there on the next cycle :D

Working on a high availability storage server using SAS multipath, ZFS, multiple SAS enclosures and two head nodes. I want this to be mostly open-source for easy modifications. Probably will write about the setup and thoughts behind it on this blog. Did some really fun coding for it and learned a bunch of stuff with it!

Trying to get my sport schedule back in order, more planned cycling sessions. Everything got a bit out of whack.

About now pages

I saw the concept of now pages a few months ago and was super into it. What is a now page and how does it differ from the about page? The about page is more about who is the person behind the blog but rarely conveys whats currently up in their life. This is the purpose of the now page, what is currently happening, motivating or simply touching a person at the moment of writing. You can find a more in-depth explanation here.
