My Krastorio2 Run

Factorio

Factorio is one of my favourite games. Building large factories and shipping resources around using trains brings me into the most relaxing zone. Hours can pass and I will not feel board.

Yesterday evening, after 144 hours, I finally finished my modded run of Krastorio2. I started it two years ago I think and it was my first build using a belt bus design.

Krastorio2 is a fine mod, it does not get too complex. It mainly introduces more recipes and extends the base game in length. In the endgame, you get access to faster and more efficient production facilities like Advanced Chem Plants. With those, you can replace entire factory lines with a few, bigger buildings.

This is no in-depth review, I just wanted to put out that I like this mod. If you like the base Factorio and do not yet have purchased Space Age, this is an excellent way to get new content. Speaking of Space Age, I bought that day one and wanted to finish this run before starting a new one. So the wait is finally over for me :D

I created a browsable map using Mapshot which you can find on Github and the Factorio Mod Page:

You can find the browsable map of my base here. Mapshot Krastorio2.

If you are really interested, here is my save game. You’ll need Factorio 1.1. Factorio should download the mods on it’s own. Krastorio2 Savegame
